Only books can be borrowed via BLC.

  • Try this if you can't get your book through the BLC Virtual Catalog
  • You will be able to access your Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad) account directly from WorldCat.
  • Books normally come to Durham within 2 - 10 days.
  • Items should be picked up at and returned to the Reference Desk.

Interlibrary Loan (ILL):

  • Books (not available through BLC), videos, DVDs, articles, reports, dissertations, etc. can be requested through ILL.
  • Articles received electronically generally come within 1 - 5 days.
  • Allow at least 2 - 10 days for other items to arrive.
  • Items should be picked up at and returned to the Reference Desk.
